Life and Japanese sweets

There are various rights of passage in Japan. After the thing of an old historical tradition, the thing, which came to be performed in recent years, and a man receive raw, even if it responds to the process of growth, various events occur. There are also Japanese sweets and a thing concerned deeply in such an event mostly, and Japanese sweets value the strong connection with our lifetime. Also at the time of joy, it has been brought up in history as a noted supporting player who is indispensable at any times and also at the time of sadness. Warmth can be felt as warm deflection just because it is the Japanese sweets, which are useful with life.

First, at the time of birth, a rice cake covered with sweet pasts is distributed in the neighborhood on the 3rd day of after the birth. And rice boiled with red beans is cooked and red-and-white steamed filled dumplings and candies are also distributed. The birth congratulation at the time of full 1 year - old is made to carry what is called birth rice cake on the back. It prays for a daughter's health to the Girl's Festival, and diamond-shaped rice cake, sakura-mochi, chicken hail, etc. are eaten. On Children's Day, like the Girl's Festival, a son's energy is prayed for and a rice dumpling in bamboo leaves and a rice cake with bean paste are eaten. A boy eats "long life" candy and congratulation confectionery to the Shichigosan by which 3 years old, 5 years old, and a woman celebrate growth of 3 years old and 7 years old. Red-and-white steamed filled dumplings and rice boiled with red beans are generally eaten for admission congratulation, graduation congratulation, adult ceremony, marriage congratulation, etc. to be acceptable, and come out of it in addition to this, as it grows up. Moreover, what is called funeral steamed filled dumplings when holding a memorial service for the soul of a funeral or the dead, and a rice cake covered with sweet bean are eaten.

Similarly, Japanese sweets are eaten also to a seasonal event. The smiling face steamed filled dumplings which put the red of one point in the petal rice cake which carried out the form of a flower, or ordinary steamed filled dumplings are eaten, and the beans confectionery made from beans or its beans is eaten in the New Year to the event called eve of the beginning of spring for expelling the demon in February. A cherry-blossom-viewing dumpling is eaten in spring, looking at a cherry tree, and "moon-viewing" cakes are eaten at the night with a full moon.

Thus, Japanese people and Japanese sweets are concerned closely. Japanese sweets will also be involved in us from now on a long time ago.
